Join Us for the 3RD ANNUAL GRAND PRAIRIE TURKEY 5K AND VIRTUAL RACE!
Lace up your running shoes and take part in our exciting event, perfect for the whole family. Whether you prefer running or walking, or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere, you're sure to have a great time.
For those who can't attend in person, join us virtually! Registration includes a special race LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRT and a finisher's medal for all participants. Make sure to grab a slice of delicious sweet potato or pumpkin pie before leaving the finish line.
_T-SHIRT: FIRST COME FIRST SERVE_
_T-SHIRT CUTOFF NOVEMBER 15TH. _
VOLUNTEER WITH US
-PACKET PICKUP: Arrive at race location no later than 6:15 am to help give out race packets and shirts.
-AID STATION (Super High Priority): Provide water to participants as they pass by. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles and trash and placing it in the provided trash cans.
-COURSE MONITOR ( Super High Priority): Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction.
Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

IN THE EVENT OF EXTREME WEATHER, THE START TIME OF THIS EVENT MAY BE DELAYED BY UP TO AN HALF HOUR. PAST THIS TIME, THE EVEN COURSE MAY BE SHORTENED OR ALTERED TO PROTECT THE PARTICIPANTS.
IF CONDITIONS TURNS INTO LIGHTENING, ICE OR BECOME UNSAFE, THE EVENT MAY BE CANCELLED. EVENT CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE RACE DIRECTOR.
WE ALWAYS STRIVE TO PRODUCE A FULL AND SAFE SPORTING EVENT, BUT SOMETIMES THE WEATHER CONDITIONS CAN AFFECT THOSE PLANS.
