Racing kicks off at 8:00 AM from the central transition area at the scenic Lockport Boat Launch, making it a perfect venue for spectators to cheer on their favorite competitors. Athletes can compete solo or as part of a relay team, with awards presented across various categories including race type, gender, and age group. Plus, participants can enjoy delicious recovery food and receive a commemorative shirt or athletic towel. Course Details
The swimmers start 750m upstream and the kayakers start in the river at the transition area. After the 750m downstream swim or the 5k kayak loop, racers will ride a 10.6 mile bike course followed by a 5k run. We have one, central transition area at the Lockport Boat Launch--a truly beautiful spot for family and friends to cheer you on! In addition to deciding if you will race the swim tri or the adventure tri, when registering, you must decide if you want to race individually or with a relay team.
