Before the race, youll predict your finishing time. Runners start in staggered order based on those predictions. In theory, everyone finishes togetherbut this race tends to attract some very good liars . The first runner to cross the finish line wins the race, earns bragging rights, and gets to add something to the 3-foot-tall traveling trophy which they keep until next year.
