Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the Gresham Gladiator 5K on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in beautiful Knoxville, Knox! This exciting event is not just a race; it’s a wonderful opportunity to support the Gresham Middle School boys and girls basketball teams as they gear up for their upcoming season. The race kicks off at Tommy Schumpert Park, taking participants on a scenic route along the Sterchi Greenway before returning to the park for the finish line celebration.
Runners of all ages are encouraged to join in the challenge, with awards for the top three males and females overall, as well as recognition for the best runner in each 10-year age group. Every participant will receive a custom T-shirt, but be sure to register before midnight on August 9 to guarantee yours! If racing isn't your thing, you can still show your support by participating in the Fun Walk or making a donation. Join us for a day filled with community spirit and athleticism while helping our young athletes excel!

Organiser's Description
Come Support the Gresham Middle School boys and girls basketball teams with this 5K fundraiser to help support the teams upcoming season. Race will start from Tommy Schumpert Park located in North Knoxville and will run out of the park, along Sterchi Greenway and will return back into the park to finish. Course will have 1 water stop located at Turn around!
Awards will be given to top 3 Male & top 3 Females overall. Age Groups will be awarded to top individual per gender for every 10 year increment (9 & under, 10-19, 40-49 etc). All participants will receive a custom T-shirt. T-shirt orders will close one week before the race date, registrations after midnight on 8/9 at midnight are NOT guaranteed a race shirt.
