Start your New Year with an exhilarating run through nature's beauty in the Grit 4 Miler. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just getting into the game, this race is tailored to fit all fitness levels. Yes, you can even walk it!
As a part of the prestigious Grit Ultra Endurance Challenge series, the Grit 4 Miler offers a slice of the ultra experience without the ultra commitment.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The race takes place on the same meticulously curated 4-mile loop that our Ultra marathoners will face in the Grit Ultra that begins on New Years Eve at Noon.
Set amidst the lush landscapes of Hanson Riverside Park in West Columbia, TX, the course promises a blend of mild elevations, wooded trails, and open spaces.
It's a beautiful experience you won't want to miss!
START TIME
January 1st - Serving as a celebratory opener for the year ahead. Arrive early to soak in the pre-race atmosphere and get a good warm-up!
THE GRIT 4 MILER TRAIL WALK :10AM
THE GRIT 4 MILER TRAIL RUN: 11AM
RACE DAY ESSENTIALS
CHIPPED RACE: This is a chipped race, so you can easily track your time and progress.
HYDRATION STATIONS: There will be water stations set up along the course to ensure you stay well-hydrated.
SWAG: All participants will receive a Grit 4 Miler T-shirt and finisher's medal to commemorate their accomplishment.
AWARDS: We will have overall and age group awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female.
