Participants can choose to run a 5K or enjoy a scenic 2-mile walk, making it a perfect occasion for both serious runners and families looking to support a noble cause.
Kick off the day with registration at 8:00 AM, followed by a heartfelt opening ceremony at 9:20 AM. The 5K runners will take off at 9:30 AM, with the 2-mile walkers starting shortly after at 9:45 AM. After the race, join us for an exciting after-party featuring live music, delicious food, and drinks, with lunch served by Nathan Bills. Proceeds from this event will benefit the GySgt Sullivan Scholarship Fund, ensuring that his legacy lives on while supporting future generations. Join us for our 10TH ANNUAL GYSGT THOMAS J. SULLIVAN REMEMBRANCE RUN, a 5k or 2-mile walk with EARLY BIRD PRICING!!!
Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan, 40, gave his life while defending his country on Thursday, July 16, 2015, during an attack on a Naval Reserve Center in Chattanooga, TN. He was a three-time Purple Heart recipient, Navy and Marine Corps Medal, and an Iraq veteran.
Proceeds benefit the GySgt Sullivan Scholarship Fund. Pre-race dinner specials the night before at Nathan Bills, with an After-party immediately following the race. Live MUSIC, FOOD & DRINKS.
