JOIN US SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT ARLINGTON FOR THE HACEMOS NTX SCHOLARSHIP 5K RUN/WALK!

The HACEMOS NTX 5K Scholarship Run/Walk involves your choice of:

* 1) a 5K Run/Walk on a certified course or
* 2) a virtual race perfect for anyone who wants to run but cannot be with us in person on race day. Virtual Racers can complete their race from wherever they live!

ABOUT HACEMOS

HACEMOS, THE HISPANIC ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNICATIONS EMPLOYEES OF AT&T, IS A NON-PROFIT, NON-PARTISAN ORGANIZATION WHO STRIVE TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITIES.

HACEMOS means "We Do," and through the IME Becas Program we award $1,000 to two-year college students and $2,000 to four-year college students that are selected in the next-year scholarship program application.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE

IN-PERSON 5K REGISTRATION

* EARLY BIRD PRICE: $20 available through Friday, July 31st
* 1ST PRICE INCREASE: $22 Saturday, August 1st to Friday, August 21st
* 2ND PRICE INCREASE: $25 Saturday, August 22nd to Saturday, September 12th (7:30AM)

Registration fees cover RACE ENTRY ONLY. In-person participants can add a race shirt for AN ADDITIONAL $15. The last day to add a shirt in your preferred size to your registration is MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 2026. After this deadline, any extra shirts will be sold at race day on a first-come, first-served basis.

All in-person participants who complete the course on race day will receive a finisher medal.

VIRTUAL 5K REGISTRATION

$25 available through Saturday, September 12th (7:30AM)

Registration fees cover RACE ENTRY AND SHIPPING FEE FOR FINISHER MEDAL. Virtual participants can add a race shirt for AN ADDITIONAL $15. The last day to add a shirt in your preferred size to your registration is MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 2026. After this deadline, any extra shirts will be sold at race day on a first-come, first-served basis.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026*

* 7AM - 7 On-site registration and packet pickup
* 8 Race time start
* 9 Post-race celebration and awards
* 11 Event officially ends

_*Rain or shine we will have the 5K Scholarship Run/Walk, and no refunds will be given. At the race director's discretion we could delay or cancel for safety (lightning or other unsafe conditions). If during the course of the race it is deemed unsafe, participants are highly encouraged to return to the MAC and take cover._

IMPORTANT INFO

* PARKING: Free parking will be available AT LOT 34 (401 S. NEDDERMAN DR, ARLINGTON TX 76013) AND THE WEST CAMPUS GARAGE (804 UTA BLVD, ARLINGTON TX 76013)
* SNACKS: Snacks and water will be provided for participants only
* PRIZES: Will be given after the race for overall male/female (more details to come)
* PETS: Following UTA campus policy, PETS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE 5K COURSE

* SHIRTS: Unisex T-shirt can be added to race registration; THE ORDER DEADLINE FOR GUARANTEED SHIRTS IN YOUR SELECTED SIZE IS MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 2026

* Participants to register after the T-shirt order deadline will not have the option to add a shirt to their race registration
* Any extra shirts will be sold at race day on a first-come, first-served basis.
