Participants can choose from three exciting race distances: a timed 8K, a timed 2 Mile, or the delightful Kids Sprint, where every young runner receives a medal to commemorate their achievement.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Kiwanis Park, this event not only promotes an active lifestyle but also supports the local community. Proceeds from the Turkey Trot go towards enhancing the park, ensuring it remains a vibrant space for all. With plenty of parking available and friendly volunteers to guide you, it’s easy to join in the festivities. WHAT:
Hampstead Kiwanis Park Turkey Trot
This is a wonderful annual family event. All children who participate in the Kids Sprint receive a medal on a lanyard. Many Marines and running groups attend. Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in their age category.
Since 2007 the Hampstead Turkey Trot has become a tradition for many families and continues to help spread enthusiasm about living an active lifestyle. The Kiwanis Club of Hampstead may be the organizers of the Turkey Trot, but it is your support that allows the club to provide this wonderful experience for people of all ages.

REGISTER AT PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP OR ON RACE DAY: To register at packet pickup or race morning, we will provide a QR code for you to register on your phone. You can also register online from your phone or device up until the race starts.
PARKING:
There are two main parking lots, one of which is paved at the main entrance of the Park, and one which is gravel at the lower end of the Park closest to Country Club Drive. There will be Hampstead Kiwanis Club members to direct parking.

Hampstead Kiwanis Park, Inc., is a non-profit organization, and all proceeds from the Turkey Trot go to improving the Park. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
Hampstead Kiwanis Park is an 82 acre parcel of property that was donated to the Kiwanis Club of Hampstead by the Tommie Little and Bill Clark Families. The Park offers a healthy, quality environment for the entire community and has established relationships with existing local organized youth sports programs.
