Join us on Sunday, October 19, 2025, for the exciting Harrisburg Heroes Run at City Island in Dauphin! This uplifting event features a 5K walk/run and a FREE 1-mile Legacy Loop walk/run, allowing participants of all ages to honor our local heroes. Registration kicks off at 9:00 AM, with the 5K starting at 10:00 AM and the Legacy Loop at 11:00 AM. Whether you choose to dress in red, white, and blue or as your favorite hero, your participation will help support veterans and first responders.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with delicious food trucks, live music from talented artists, and the joy of giving back. After the races, relax with drinks at the Harrisburg Beach Club while taking in stunning views of the Susquehanna River. Participants will receive a FREE red t-shirt, and winners in each age group will be awarded trophies. Plus, don’t forget to bring non-perishable food items to support the Central PA Food Bank’s Military Share program. Mark your calendar and be part of this memorable day dedicated to honoring those who serve!

*5K PATH: The course starts at the train station (25 Station Road, Harrisburg, PA 17101), loops around City Island, crosses out via the pedestrian Walnut Street Bridge, continues along Front Street, turns around near the Front & Forster Street intersection, then returns the same way. All proceeds benefit the Dauphin County Wills for Heroes [https://www.pabar.org/site/For-Public/Wills-for-Heroes] events run by Pennsylvania Bar Association [https://www.pabar.org/site/], providing free wills and estate documents for veterans, first responders, and their families.
