Choose from two dynamic team options: the non-competitive Collaborative Teams, allowing up to 25 participants to work together and even engage in some light-hearted sabotage, or the Competitive Teams, which consist of up to 10 members racing for time-based awards. With a time limit of 4 hours for Collaborative Teams and 3 hours for Competitive Teams, strategy plays a vital role in this race. Organiser's Description
Start Time: 7:00 AM central standard time / 8:00 AM central standard time for competitive teams (_NOTE_: daylight savings time ends at 2 a.m., so you get an extra hour of sleep before the race)
TIME LIMIT: 4 hours / 3 hours for competitive teams
DISTANCE: 26.2 miles
RACE VENUE: Wendel D. Ley Track at Rice University
Team Options:
* _COLLABORATIVE_: These non competitive teams can have to 25 participants who work together to complete the marathon. Collaborative Teams have the option of _SABOTAGING_ other Collaborative Teams.
* _COMPETITIVE_: Competitive teams of up to 10 participants who will compete for time based awards at the race venue.
