Join us for the inaugural Healing in Motion 5K on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 9 AM at White Hall Park in Richmond, Madison! This exciting event is dedicated to standing up against sexual violence and supporting survivors, kicking off the nationally recognized Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Participants can look forward to a scenic course on paved trails, commemorative unisex-sized T-shirts, and awards for the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as in 10-year age divisions.

In addition to the main 5K race, there will be a FREE Kid's Dash and a virtual option available for those who prefer to participate from home. Enjoy complimentary race photos and convenient packet pickup on race day. With food, fun, and fellowship, this uplifting event aims to support the Sexual Violence Resource Center of the Bluegrass, which provides essential services such as 24-hour support, counseling, and education to empower individuals and communities. Come be a part of this meaningful cause and make a difference in the lives of survivors!

100% of race proceeds and donations will support the SEXUAL VIOLENCE RESOURCE CENTER OF THE BLUEGRASS SVRC is where education, advocacy, and support come together in the fight against sexual violence. SVRCs mission is to be a beacon of hope and a force for change for survivors across the region we serve.

  • Race Volunteer

    We need 6-8 volunteers to work a race day shift on 4/4/26 from 7:30am-10:45am to make the race great. Volunteers earn a race T-shirt for working a full volunteer shift.
