THIS PROFESSIONALLY TIMED EVENT IS PERFECT FOR SERIOUS RUNNERS WHO MAY BE LOOKING TO IMPROVE A TIME, OR JUST HAVE A FUN TIME RUNNING, JOGGING OR WALKING TO SUPPORT OUR VETERAN FAMILIES. All proceeds from the race will benefit Healing Warriors Program Clinics whose Mission and role is to lessen the factors that lead to veteran suicides. We do this by providing NO COST treatment care, home self-care tools, gun locks, and Client Care navigation services to assist in connecting our veterans with community resources and counseling services. We solve problems together as a community, and our fundraising events focus on education, awareness and removing barriers for our veteran families in obtaining care.

THE HEALING WARRIORS PROGRAM FOCUS IS:

Suicide Prevention through NO COST integrative non-narcotic treatments for PTSD, TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries), Interpersonal Trauma, Sleep Disorders, Chronic Pain, Cancer Support, Pre and Post Surgical Support, Detox Series, Immune Support, Wellness and Preventative Care for 60+ Veterans and more, all without any drugs or narcotics. We serve Veterans from any era, any branch of service. We also serve disabled and homeless veterans, Active duty troops, reservists, National Guard and the spouses/partners and parents of our service members. The state of Colorado, where we primarily operate, has a population of 403,327 veterans. 83% of those veterans live along the Colorado front range, which is the area in which Healing Warriors Program operates, as well as free monthly Pop Up Clinics in Longmont, Denver, Colorado Springs and Buckley AFB for our active duty personnel. Our care model includes treating the spouse/partner and parent of the service member in order to support the family, who are often in a caregiver role and who themselves deal with trauma, severe anxiety and sleep deprivation. Healing Warriors Program provides free walk-in clinics at Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) and American Legion posts along the Colorado front range and at US Army Yellow Ribbon Pre, During and Post Deployment events. Healing Warriors Program operates a full clinic in Fort Collins, Colorado, providing care for VA and NON VA patients and veteran families and we have delivered over 35,000 treatment sessions since opening our doors in July, 2013. We are a registered VA Vendor and Guidestar Platinum Charity.
