Kick off the day with a warm-up at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K race starting at 9:00 a.m. and the 1 Mile race launching shortly after at 9:10 a.m. For those looking for a unique twist, don’t miss the Rucking 5K, which starts at 9:05 a.m. Participants can look forward to receiving a commemorative tee and runner's bib, as well as a finisher medal—plus awards for the top winners in each 5K age group! With packet pickup available on February 6th and race day morning, it’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate

PACKET PICKUP

RUCKING IS THE ACTION OF WALKING WITH WEIGHT ON YOUR BACK. WALKING WITH A WEIGHTED RUCKSACK (AKA BACKPACK) IS A LOW IMPACT EXERCISE BASED ON MILITARY TRAINING WORKOUTS.
WHAT ARE THE RUCKING CATEGORIES/GROUPS FOR THIS EVENT?
RUCKING WEIGHT IS BASED ON OVERALL BODY WEIGHT. FOR THIS EVENT, PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DIVIDED INTO TWO CATEGORIES: UNDER 150 LBS AND OVER 150 LBS.
PARTICIPANTS UNDER 150 LBS ARE REQUIRED TO CARRY A 10 LB RUCKSACK OR BACKPACK.
PARTICIPANTS OVER 150 LBS ARE REQUIRED TO CARRY A 20 LB RUCKSACK OR BACKPACK.
ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THEIR OWN BACKPACK AND WEIGHTS FOR THE RACE.
