Get ready to mend your broken heart at the FIRST ANNUAL Heartbreaker Half-Marathon in Ferris, Ellis on Saturday, 1st February 2025! Organised by North Texas, this Valentine's Day-themed event offers participants the choice of running a 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon distance. Finish strong and earn a unique 6 INCH BROKEN HEART FINISHER MEDAL, with top three age group finishers also receiving special awards. New this year is the KID'S DASH, a fun 100-200 meter sprint for children to experience the racing atmosphere. Registration includes an event-themed t-shirt and finisher medal for 5K, 10K, and Half participants, with age group awards and overall winner trophies up for grabs. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! ...or is it? Join us our FIRST ANNUAL HEARTREAKER HALF-MARATHON! You can chose between our 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon distance and run as hard as your heart desires and ear you 6 INCH BROKEN HEART FINISHER MEDAL! Place top three in you age group and you can mend your broken heart with a UNIQUE AGE GROUP AWARD.
Sign your kiddos up for our BRAND NEW KID'S DASH! This is a short 100-200 meter sprint prior to the start of the race to give our little ones the opportunity to experience the racing environment without the pressure of a seemingly long, endless course. Dashers receive participation shirts, and will have the option to add finisher medal to their registration.
Registration Includes:
- Event-themed participation t-shirt
- 6 INCH Finisher Medal (5K | 10K | HALF ONLY)
- Eligibility for Age Group Awards (5K | 10K | HALF ONLY)
Age groups will be awarded 3 deep in the following divisions: M/F 0-9, M/F 10-14, M/F 15-19, M/F 20-29, M/F 30-39, M/F 40-49, M/F 50-59, M/F 60-69, M/F 70+.
Our OVERALL MALE, OVERALL FEMALE, MALE MASTERS (40+), & FEMALE MASTERS (40+) will not only receive their gold medals, but will also earn a SPECIAL EVENT-THEMED TROPHY!
