The festivities kick off at 7:30 a.m. with race day registration and packet pick-up, followed by the Hero 50-yard dash at 8:00 a.m. and the Sidekick 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile walk at 8:30 a.m. All registration fees include admission to the zoo for the entire day, making it a perfect family outing! Participants can also make a difference by sponsoring a hero, ensuring that children who need adaptive equipment can join in the fun at the zoo. Organiser's Description
Join us on August 23, 2025 (in person or virtually) as we raise funds for The Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation Helping Hands Initiative to provide necessary equipment that is not covered by insurance, such as but not limited to: safe standard car seats, electrical lines for ventilators, helmets and various adaptive equipment.

Donate $20 to sponsor a patient and give them the chance to participate in the Kids Fun Dash or 1-mile walk - their race entry gets them into the zoo and rainforest for the remainder of the day!
So many of our patients would love to experience a free day at the zoo! Or Donate $30 and this will include a guardian to join them for free as a spectator!
