HELPING OUR FAMILIES, A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED WITH THE MISSION OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF FAMILIES, PROUDLY PRESENTS THE 2025 IN-STRIDE 5K.
IN 2024, 19 FAMILIES WERE ASSISTED THROUGH EMERGENCY FUND SERVICES THAT ALLOWED THEM TO EITHER STAY IN THEIR HOMES VERSUS BEING EVICTED OR IN MANY CASES BUY GROCERIES; 40 DAYTON PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS WERE REGISTERED AT OUR GRANDVIEW LEARNING LAB TO RECEIVE AFTERSCHOOL TUTORING; AND 169 MOTHERS AND CHILDREN RECEIVED CHRISTMAS GIFTS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE HAVE NOTHING.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TOWARDS OUR MISSION OF SERVING SINGLE MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN, PROVIDING RESOURCES, SUPPORT AND HOPE BY HELPING TO REMOVE BARRIERS THAT PREVENT FAMILIES FROM SUCCEEDING IN THE GREATER DAYTON AREA.
