Henrys Thanksgiving Day Hustle 5K Presented by Kopf Running:
Join us as Kopf Running presents the 11th Annual Henrys Hustle 5K benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association in honor of our friend, Henry Betts! This years race will be held on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at 8:15am. We are collecting monetary donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (proceeds from entry fees also go to MDA)! Please consider donating to or fundraising for MDA to help us double our impact!

Thursday, November 23, 2023- 8:00am start for the 1/2 Mile Kids Dash and 8:15am start for the 5K. Post-race party includes post-race stretching, Thanksgiving-themed treats and snacks from Toms Farm Market, Einstein Bagels, Starbucks coffee, music, kids games, awards, and raffle prize drawings. Raffle drawing and race awards at approximately 9:00am.

Location of Start / Finish Area Parking
Location: Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road, Lake in the Hills, IL 60156. The Run/Walk and Kids Dash will begin on the back (West) side of the building. However, all participants will park in the lot by the front entrance of Marlowe (the East side of the building) and walk through the building to the gym for pre-race stretching and refreshments. Then, runners will exit on the West side of the building to begin the race. If you pick up your packet on race day or register on race day, please allow enough time to return your items to your vehicle, as there is no gear check, before returning to the start line to begin the race. Volunteers will be on-site directing parking.

Timing, Age Groups, Awards
Race Time will be on hand to provide finish times to all runners and walkers participating in the 5K!! The 5K is chip timed, but it is a gun start style race, meaning that everyones time starts when the race begins, not when you cross the start line. Please note results are not official until after the event. Medals will be given to the male and female top 3 in each age division (14 and under, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65 and older) and the overall male and female finishers. Male and female overall winners will receive a Running Depot Gift Card and a Toms Farm Market pumpkin pie!

Wednesday, November 22nd from 5-8pm at Arctic Heating and Cooling, 111 Erick Street, Crystal Lake, IL 60014Thursday, November 23rd (race day) from 7-8am at Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Rd, Lake in the Hills, IL 60156
You MAY pick up someone elses packet by giving the packet pick up volunteer the other persons first and last name.

Age to Participate: Run/Walk participants must be 5 years or older, and Kids Dash participants must be 12 months or older. All participants under the age of 18 years must have a parent register them via online or in person registration.Strollers are welcome. No rollerblades, scooters, or roller-skates. No pets please. Walkers and participants with strollers please start in the back.Race course subject to change without notice. Course map is available here!
