Get ready for an exciting community event at the HERO 5K Run/Walk on Monday, May 25, 2026, in Massillon, Stark! This fun and invigorating 3.1-mile loop takes place along 13th Street in Perry Township and promises a fantastic day filled with running, walking, and camaraderie. Celebrating its 12th year, the HERO 5K is a beloved event that supports the Perry Township Flags of Freedom and the Perry Project Group.
Participants of all ages are encouraged to join in the fun, whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-time walker. Be sure to register ahead of race day to secure your spot, as race day registration will be $45. Each participant will receive a medal, and there are plenty of options for T-shirt sizes, from Youth Small to Adult 3X-Large, with a discount for those who opt out of the shirt. The race kicks off at 8:30 AM near the Perry Township Police Department and wraps up at Perry High School. With awards for overall and age group winners, as well as special categories for military, fire/EMT, and law enforcement, the HERO 5K Run/Walk is a celebration of community spirit

Organiser's Description
The HERO 5K Run/Walk is a looped 3.1 mile run-walk along 13th street in Perry Township on Monday, May 25. This is the 12th year for the HERO 5K Run/Walk and is an event in conjunction with the Perry Township Flags of Freedom and Perry Project Group. All participants are encouraged to sign up before race day. Race day registration is $45.00.
SHIRTS:
We offer size Youth Small to Large and Adult Small to 3X-Large, plus we have $5 discount for a no shirt option. T-Shirts will be limited after May 10 with limited selections.
MEDALS:
All participants will receive a medal! We offer a no participation medal option for a $5 discount, please select during the registration process if your not interested in receiving a medal.
