Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the Hickory Crawdads & Fleet Feet Hickory Home Run Trot 5k on Saturday, July 5, 2025! Set in the vibrant city of Hickory, Burke, this exciting event combines the thrill of running with the love of baseball. Participants will race around L.P. Frans Stadium, collecting their three bases (miles) and finishing right on home plate.
All registered participants will receive a guaranteed t-shirt (if registered by June 25, 2025) and a ticket to the July 5 Crawdads game. The first 100 registrants will also enjoy a voucher for a hot dog and soda at the game on July 15, 2025. Plus, the top male and female finishers will have the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Crawdads game on July 25, 2025! With age group awards for various categories ranging from 1-9 to 80 and up, this event is perfect for all ages. This year, runners will also experience a new route, including Hickory's New Aviation Walk. Don’t miss out on this unique blend of athletics and community spirit!

A fun 5k race that includes the love of baseball! Run around L.P.Frans Stadium to collect your 3 bases (miles) and finish on home plate!!! Participants receive a t-shirt, size guaranteed if registered by JUNE 25, 2025 and one (1) ticket to the JULY 5, 2025 game. The first 100 registered will receive a voucher for a hot dog and soda at the game on JULY 15, 2025.

Packet Pickup will be at Fleet Feet Hickory on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 10am-7pm. We will be accepting registrations at packet pickup. Fee at packet pickup is $25. Race Day registration and packet pickup will be from 7am-7:45am at L.P. Frans Stadium. The fee is $30.
