A Fun, Family-Friendly Holland Tradition
Celebrating its 10th year, the Holland Leprechaun Chase 5K is a beloved community race founded by the Holland Running Club and known for great energy, friendly faces, and a awesome way to kick off St. Patricks Day weekend!

This is a race for everyone! Run it fast, jog with friends, or walk with family. However you do it, youll feel right at home.

Community-Led, Locally Hosted
This years race is being organized by Lakeside Property Masters and hosted by Mayor Nathan Bocks and Kevin J. Maas, to carry this tradition forward with the same community spirit runners know and love.


Scenic Downtown & Waterfront Course
Youll run through some of Hollands most iconic and beautiful areas on a fast, fun, and fully closed course:

Start at Centennial Park
Head north on Central Ave
Turn right on 6th Street
Run through the Scenic Window on the Waterfront
Enter and run through Windmill Island Gardens
Exit Windmill Island and return through the Scenic Window
Head south on Columbia Ave
Turn right on 10th Street for the final straightaway to the finish
All streets will be fully closed and barricaded, with Holland police and volunteers along the course to ensure a safe and smooth race experience for runners, walkers, and spectators.

A fun, fully supervised kids race with age-based groups:

All courses are safe, clearly marked, and supported by police and volunteers.

Wee Chase starts at 8:30 AM
Leprechaun Chase 5K starts at 9:00 AM
