By popular demand, the City of Holland graciously granted us permission to release a few more entries to the Holland Turkey Trot

Be Aware: We are excited to offer to the opportunity to run or walk the Turkey Trot to a few more people, but if you are one of our newer Registrants with a bib number over 1,000, we ask you kindly not to accept a race medal at the finish line. You will still get the awesome custom shirt and bib on time! Your medals have been ordered and will be available for pickup TBD the 1st or 2nd week of December. We only have 1,000 Custom Finisher Medals on hand for our intitial 1,000 signups. Yours are being made! Totally worth the wait! Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day!)
Start Time: 8:00 AM SHARP
Start/Finish Line: 8th Street between Central Ave & College Ave in Downtown Holland
Expected Runners: 1,000
Registration Fee:

$35 in July -Register early and save!
$40 beginning August 1st

$50 beginning November 1st


The Course
Get ready for a scenic, fun, and fast 5K course that starts and ends in bustling downtown Holland. Here's your route:

Start on 8th Street between Central Ave & College Ave
Turn right on Central Ave, then right onto E 7th St
Take a left on Lincoln Ave and make your way toward one of Hollands most iconic landmarks
Enter Windmill Island Gardens and run within 5 feet of the historic De Zwaan Windmill!
Exit Windmill Island and return via Lincoln Ave
Make a right onto E 8th St
Sprint through three full blocks of beautiful downtown shops and cheering spectators
Finish where you startedright in the heart of Holland!

Parking & Porta Potties
Runners are strongly encouraged to carpool
Please try to arrive early, and use designated public parking at city parking lots, such as at the Holland Civic Center. Note that 7th and 8th Street will be closed for the duration of this race.

Public Restrooms and Porta Potties will be available on Central Ave, between 8th and 9th, for your convenience

Remember that it will be November in Michigan, so there may be snow on the course. We will still run! In particular the path on Windmill Island will not be plowed. Run at your own risk.
