Join us for the 3rd annual Miles for Mom 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Cookeville, Putnam! This uplifting event kicks off Mother’s Day Weekend with a mission to honor and support birth mothers, adoptive families, and the children we serve. Set against a beautiful scenic route through Algood, TN, the event aims to raise $50,000 to enhance adoption services and provide housing opportunities for expectant mothers.
Participants can choose between a 5K run/walk or a fun 1-mile Kids Fun Run, both starting at 8 AM. Early bird registration is available until February 28 for just $30, which includes a t-shirt! At Hope Adoption Agency, we continue in our mission and vision of serving the Upper Cumberland with affordable and accessible adoption services! Hope Adoption Agency remains as the only agency of its kind here in our region, and in 2026, we are setting our sights on raising the funds to grow and expand the opportunities for housing that we can offer our expectant mothers and keeping adoption affordable to our adoptive families.

serve; born and unborn. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to cover event costs and directly advance our pro-life mission. In a jumpstart effort to kick off Mother's Day Weekend, we bring this event to showcase, honor, and celebrate every mother!"
In order to guarantee a t-shirt for the day of the race, please register by April 24, 2026. Listed below are race registration costs:
* EARLY BIRD SPECIAL JANUARY 26-FEBRUARY 28: $30 (T-SHIRT INCLUDED)
* REGULAR REGISTRATION MARCH 1-MAY 7: $35 (TSHIRT INCLUDED IF REGISTERED BY APRIL 24, 2026)
* LATE REGISTRATION MAY 8-9: $50 (TSHIRT NOT INCLUDED)

Runners can pick up their race packets at the Hope Adoption Agency office located at 235 W. Main Street, Cookeville, TN on Thursday or Friday, May 7-8 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Participants are also welcome to pick up race packets the morning of the race at 7:00 am. Miles for Mom will begin promptly at 8 AM, and will take you on a beautiful scenic route through Algood, TN.
Kids Fun Run is 1 mile and will also take place at 8am! Parents are welcome to stay and watch if not participating in the 5K or can leave their child with race volunteers and/or friends if they wish to participate in the 5K! All volunteers have had background checks completed and signed a waiver in agreement with volunteer duties and Hope regulations. For the fun run, children will receive a medal upon completion.
