JOIN US ON AUGUST 3RD FOR THE 2024 EDITION OF HOUSTON PARTY IN THE PARK!
This is a free community event. All paces welcome!
The event will take place on Saturday, August 3rd, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the grass just west of the Tennis Center at Memorial Park. Expect a day filled with fun and enjoyment, including free refreshments such as watermelon, Gatorade, beverages courtesy of SAINT ARNOLD BREWERY, and live music.
RSVP TO HELP US ESTIMATE THE REFRESHMENTS NEEDED FOR THE EVENT. Donations are optional and will be used to fund free events hosted by running clubs collaborating with HARRA. As the umbrella running organization in the Houston area, our goal is to support and highlight running clubs in our community.
Member clubs are also invited to bring their tents for free to showcase their groups. Please check the TENT SPACE RESERVATION section for details.
COMMUNITY RUNS
7:00 AM -HARDLOOP/TROT group run from the TROT arch.
8:00 AM -CITY GIRLS WHO WALK HOUSTON group walk from the TROT arch.
8:30 AM - RUNHOU RACE AMBASSADORS and HOUSTON MARATHON FOUNDATION HEROS will lead a youth run at 8:30 a.m. with 1 mile and 3 mile options for every age and pace capable of these distance.
