Racers of all skill levels are invited to join, with categories for both men and women. Participants will tackle a thrilling 10-mile course composed of two five-mile loops, featuring a total ascent of 856 feet and reaching a breathtaking maximum elevation of 6,302 feet. New for this year, the race kicks off with a special 5:00 PM start for juniors aged 10-14, who will navigate a one-lap course, followed by all other racers at 6:00 PM completing two laps. Don’t miss your chance to compete for points throughout the series, as racers must participate in at least three of the four events to qualify for the coveted Overall Series Champion title. Organiser's Description
The Highlands Ranch Mountain Bike (MTB) Series takes place on four Wednesdays in July and August. Each Wednesday night features a different route. All four races take place in our beautiful and pristine Backcountry Wilderness Area with the first three taking place on our Highlands Point Trail System and the fourth taking place on our Wildcat Mountain Trail System.
Mountain bike racers of all abilities are welcome! All categories are for men and women. Points are collected throughout the Series to crown an overall Series Champion in each male/female category at the conclusion of the Series. Racers will have to race in three of the four races to be eligible for series ranking and the Overall Series Champion award. We will take your top three finishes to calculate your final ranking score.
This course consists of two five-mile loops running clockwise for a total length of 10 miles. Total ascent of 856 feet and a maximum elevation of 6,302 feet.
