Get ready for the 2nd Annual Hugh Bost Memorial 5K, taking place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the scenic Rockwell Town Park in Rockwell, North Carolina! This exciting event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. and features a spirited 5K race through the charming streets of downtown Rockwell, complete with slight inclines and declines to keep things interesting. Participants can register for just $25 before race day or $30 on the day of the event.
In addition to the 5K, there’s also a Fun Run for younger participants (12 and under) at an affordable cost of $15 with a shirt or $10 without. All runners and walkers in the 5K will receive a stylish Dry Fit T-shirt, and awards will be given to the top finishers in various categories. Best of all, every dollar raised will support the local law enforcement K9 programs in Rowan County, making this not only a fun day of fitness but also a meaningful contribution to the community. COST: 5K - $25 if received before race day, $30 race day; Fun Run - $15 with a shirt or $10 without shirt
COURSE: See map below. The course will begin and end at Rockwell Town Park and will include downtown Rockwell. There will be slight inclines and declines.
