Join us for the Humane Society of Erie County 5K Run/Walk: Run, Walk, Brew, Rescue on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, in the vibrant downtown of Sandusky, Ohio! This exciting event marks the first race of the #RUNDUSKY Race Series and features a chip-timed 5K run/walk road course starting at the Bait House Brewery, just north of the city building. Registration opens at 8 AM, with the race kicking off at 9 AM, so come ready to have fun and support a great cause!
Participants will enjoy a scenic route while raising funds for the Humane Society of Erie County. The entry fee is just $30 if registered by March 25, 2025, and includes a stylish t-shirt, while those registering after this date can still join for $35 (shirt not guaranteed). Well-behaved dogs on short leashes are welcome to join in on the fun! Throughout the day, enjoy raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a limited breakfast menu, along with a special beer release at Bait House Brewery. Each participant will also receive a complimentary fountain beverage or draft beer to celebrate their achievement. Don’t miss

5K run/walk road course in downtown Sandusky, Ohio originating at Bait House Brewery and Battery Park parking lot just north of the city building.
Day of registration from 8am-8:45am; Race start at 9 a.m. Finish line will be set up for one hour.
$30 supports the Humane Society of Erie County and includes t-shirt (if registered before noon on March 25, 2025). *$35 and no guaranteed shirt after T-shirt deadline*
