This uplifting event features two exciting race distances: an engaging 1-Mile run for participants aged 10 and under at 8:00 AM, followed by a spirited 5K at 8:30 AM. Both races will kick off and conclude at Clawson-Burnley Park on the scenic Greenway Trail.
This meaningful event aims to honor the brave officers and military personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community while supporting the families left behind. The Hunter's Heroes group invites everyone in the community to participate and celebrate the legacy of those who serve. Organiser's Description
8:00 am - 1 Mile (10 under), 8:30 am - 5K. The races will start and end at Clawson-Burnley Park on the Greenway Trail in Boone. Proceeds benefit those that gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community and also to embrace the loved ones that lost someone too soon. The Hunter's Heroes group welcomes participation from our entire community. We honor officers and military personnel of their service to North Carolina and to the United States of America. The 2026 race honors Brittany Berry & family.
