Huron County Department of Job & Family Services: 5K Run/Walk/Fun Run & Pedaling with Pops

The Huron County Department of Job & Family Services and Family & Children First Council are partnering to promote Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. We will be offering four events that includes a 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Fun Run and Pedaling with Pops. The 5K will start promptly at 9:00AM with the Fun Run and Pedaling with Pops to follow. We are excited to bring these event to you for FREE with hopes that you will bring your family out to participate together!

Medals will be awarded for the top male & female in the 5K Run and 1st & 2nd place in the following age groups: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 & older. Awards will also be given out to the top 3 Walkers.

All three events will start from Huron County Department of Job & Family Services and loop back around to return to the start. We are inviting partners out from youth and family serving agencies to provide information about their role in helping Huron County families.

Note: This is a FREE event. We are not accepting donations at this time.

The Pedaling with Pops event will follow the completion of the 5K event.
