Organiser's Description

Valley County is a recreationalists dream. There are many opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. The Idaho High Mountain Triathlon brings athletes to the beautiful, eastern Valley County region of Idaho. This challenging event takes advantage of the unique topography of the area from Warm Lake to Yellow Pine.

This triathlon begins at Warm Lake (elevation 5300') and ends at Yellow Pine (~4900') after crossing at a 7300' summit.

The triathlon is open to both able-bodied and ATD1 adaptive athletes (ambulatory, wheelchair, visually impaired)

Athletes can compete in the full triathlon or as part of a three person relay team.

Awards and after party will be held at Yellow Pine. Plan to stay over after the race? Local camping is free. Contact us for information on lodging.

Registrations and donations are tax deductible through YPAC Corp. a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Funds raised will go to support local needs and the 2026 Triathlon.

    The Idaho High Mountain Triathlon is open to Adaptive Triathlon Division 1 adaptive athletes. ATD1 athletes consist of three main subdivisions: ATD1 Ambulatory - In both bike and run, athletes may use approved prosthesis or other supportive devices ATD1 Wheelchair - Must use a handcycle on the bike course and a racing wheelchair on the run course. ATD1 Visually Impaired - One guide is mandatory throughout the competition. Must ride a tandem during the bike segment.
