Supporting Literacy in Your Local Community
The Imagination Library is an award-winning book gifting program for children ages 0-5 that was started by Dolly Parton. Each child enrolled receives a high-quality, age-appropriate book each month in the mail, at no cost to the family, from birth through their fifth birthday! The Palm Beach County Imagination Library is the official local partner of the Imagination Library. The Run for Reading 5k presented by the Annette Urso Rickel Foundation run/walk is a family-friendly event and the perfect opportunity to stay active and engaged while supporting early literacy in Palm Beach County. There will be activities for kids including a STEM activity by Stories and STEM of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County. The race will take place in Commons Park in Royal Palm Beach and will be timed by AccuChip.
There is also a virtual race! Pick up your swag bag, t-shirt and race medal locally, or select the shipping option.
The first 250 registered participants will receive a uniquely designed custom race medal, race t-shirt, chip start, and swag bag!
