The 5k race is fun for the whole family or seasoned runners who want to leave their family in the dust.
Whether you're aiming for a personal best or just out for a relaxed jog, the 5k offers a flat, fast course on a mix of paved and dirt trailsperfect for a fun start to your 4th of July.
KIDS RUN (12 AND UNDER)
Race Start: 9:15 a.m.
Kids 12 and under can join in the fun with a 400-meter dash made just for them. Its a quick, energetic run where kids race to the finish while family and friends cheer them on.
Let's make some memories and start the holiday with a bang!

Please park at Independence Park (2798 Holmes Street, Livermore) and walk to the entrance.

This flat loop combines the Winery Loop dirt trail and the paved Arroyo Del Valle Regional Trail through the beautiful Sycamore Grove Park. Strollers are not great for this event, as the trail is a little rocky. Dogs: We love your pups, but for everyone's safety, they aren't allowed to participate in the race. -

This is an untimed fun run for kids 12 and under. It will be an out and back along the Sycamore Trail that starts and ends in front the Wetmore Entrance of Sycamore Grove Park. The race is free but if kids want to add on a shirt, there is a $12 option.
