Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Into the Woods 5 Miler, taking place on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, in the picturesque Asbury Woods of Erie. This exciting trail race invites participants to challenge themselves on a stunning 5-mile course that weaves through a delightful mix of boardwalks, packed dirt trails, and single track loops. Runners will enjoy chip-timed results provided by The Big White Trailer, making it a competitive yet fun experience for all.
Families are encouraged to join in the festivities with a special kids fun run, featuring a half-mile course where young runners can earn their very own tree branch medal crafted at Asbury Woods. Plus, free babysitting will be available for potty-trained kids ages 3-10, allowing parents to focus on their race. The day's events kick off at 8:30 AM with registration, followed by the kids race at 9:00 AM and the main 5-mile race starting at 9:30 AM. Don't miss out on the post-race celebrations, complete with refreshments courtesy of Erie Beer. Pre-registration for the 5 Miler is just $35 until June 3rd, or $40 on race day. Join

Let's get ready to run once again on the beautiful trails of Asbury Woods with our Into the Woods trail race. Those who want to test their mettle in the woods can tackle the 5 mile competitive race course that includes a mix of boardwalks, packed dirt trails and single track loops.
Get the kids in on the action with a kids fun run that is approximately 1/2 a mile and they can go home with their very own medal created from a tree branch at Asbury Woods. Once again we'll also offer free babysitting for potty-trained kids ages 3-10.
The 5 mile race will be chip-timed by The Big White Trailer.
