Join the excitement at the Into the Woods 5 Miler trail race on Saturday, June 6, 2026, set in the scenic Asbury Woods in Erie. This vibrant event invites runners of all levels to tackle a thrilling 5-mile competitive course that features a delightful mix of boardwalks, packed dirt trails, and single-track loops. Families can enjoy the fun, too, with a special kids' fun run of approximately 1/2 mile, ensuring that young participants leave with a unique medal made from a tree branch at Asbury Woods.
The day's activities kick off with registration opening at 8:30 AM, followed by childcare services for potty-trained children ages 3-10 starting at 9:00 AM. The kids' race takes off at 9:00 AM, leading into the main 5-mile race beginning at 9:30 AM. Runners will benefit from chip timing, and everyone can unwind after the race with delicious post-race snacks and festivities, including refreshments provided by Erie Beer. Get ready to run the beautiful trails of Asbury Woods with our Into the Woods 5 Miler trail race. In this 2nd race of the 2026 season, tackle the 5-mile competitive course that includes a mix of boardwalks, packed dirt trails and single track loops.
Get the kids in on the action with a kids fun run that is approximately 1/2 mile. All child participants will go home with their very own medal created from a tree branch at Asbury Woods. Once again, we'll offer free childcare for potty-trained kids ages 3-10.
The 5-mile race will be chip-timed.
