Organiser's Description

Nearly 25 MILLION Americans and 25% of the world's population suffer with chronic pelvic pain. Most suffer in silence, with little access to healthcare. The IPPS MOVE AGAINST PELVIC PAIN CHALLENGE is our way of showing they are not alone during May is Pelvic Pain Awareness Month. Throughout the month of May we make an extra effort to spread the word about pelvic pain as part of PELVIC PAIN AWARNESS MONTH! This year we will extend the virtual challenges to run through June 15th. This way you can move your body after sitting for 2 days at our virtual Annual Scientific Meeting on Pelvic Pain!

Research shows that movement and activity is one of the best ways to combat pain. In this challenge, YOU CAN CHOSE ANY COMBINATION OF EVENTS, VIRTUAL 10K RUN/WALK, VIRTUAL 5K RUN/WALK, VIRTUAL 10/20K BIKE RIDE, ZOOM PILATES, BOLLYWOOD DANCE OR YOGA! So sign up, lace up your shoes, grab a friend, family member or pet and MOVE WITH US AGAINST PELVIC PAIN!
