Event summary
Participants can choose between a certified 5K race and a lively 1-Mile Color Run, both designed to bring the community together in a spirit of camaraderie and encouragement. The 5K course will take runners on a scenic route starting in the student parking lot, with a turnaround at Prospect Church Road, while the 1-Mile course will feature fun twists and turns around the school campus. All entrants will receive a t-shirt, but be sure to register by April 1 to guarantee yours!
The day kicks off with registration at 8:30 AM, followed by the Carry the Cross Opening Ceremony at 9:15 AM. The 5K race starts at 10:00 AM, with awards presented shortly after. Families will also enjoy children's activities from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, including a bounce house
Organiser's Description
All runners who enter either the certified 5K race or the 1-Mile Color Run will receive a t-shirt. Participants must register by April 1 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. After April 1, any additional t-shirts will only be available on race day on a first-come, first-served basis.
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
This 5K is a simple down and out 5K course that starts in the student parking lot and turns onto Erwin Chapel Road. Runners will turn around at the stop sign at Prospect Church Road and return to the start/finish line.
The 1-Mile Course includes several turns and is confined to the school campus.
The 100 yard races will be held on the soccer field.
