Join us for the heartfelt Isaih Atwood Memorial Run/Walk on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, in the scenic Fort Gibson, Muskogee. This uplifting event aims to honor the vibrant spirit of Isaih Atwood, who cherished the outdoors and brought joy to those around him. Starting at 2:00 PM from the Fort Gibson City Park, participants can choose between a 1-mile fun run or a 5K (3.1 miles) challenge. Every runner and walker will receive a commemorative shirt if registered by November 21st, along with finishers medals for all participants, making this a memorable day for everyone involved.
Not only will you be celebrating Isaih's legacy, but you’ll also be supporting a noble cause, as proceeds from the event will contribute to college scholarships for Fort Gibson seniors. PLEASE JOIN US ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON DECEMBER 1ST AS WE REMEMBER AND CELEBRATE THE LIFE OF ISAIH ATWOOD. ISAIH LOVED BEING OUTDOORS AND MAKING HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY LAUGH. PLEASE HELP US CARRY ON HIS POSITIVE LEGACY THROUGH THIS MEMORIAL RUN/WALK IN DOWNTOWN FORT GIBSON IN HIS HONOR. WE WILL START THE RUN/WALK AT 2:00 PM AT THE FORT GIBSON CITY PARK AND THERE WILL BE A 1 MILE AND 5K (3.1 MILES).
THERE WILL BE SHIRT PROVIDED TO PARTICIPANTS, BUT YOU MUST SIGN UP BY NOVEMBER 21ST TO GET A SHIRT. THERE WILL BE FINISHERS MEDALS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS AND THE EVENT WILL BE TIMED BY I:40 RACE SERVICE.
