Get ready to celebrate the spirit of Aloha at the Island Luau 5K on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in beautiful Pennsville, Salem! This Hawaiian-style event invites participants to run, walk, or cheer on their friends and family in a vibrant atmosphere filled with fun and community spirit. With a chip-timed 5K race kicking off at 10 AM, both seasoned runners and beginners can join in the excitement. Participants will receive a Hawaiian lei and an upgraded shirt, and there will be awards for the top three overall and age group winners!
After the race, the festivities continue with a spectacular waterfront party at the new Shipyard Event Space along the Delaware River. Enjoy a 45-minute Hawaiian dancing show by the South Pacific Island Dancers, delicious food options from food trucks, and the chance to participate in a hula hoop contest and best-dressed competition. With traditional Hawaiian music, a full bar menu for participants aged 21 and over, and Hawaiian punch for the kids, this event is sure to be a crowd favorite!
