For our younger runners, there's the exciting Half-Mile Kids Fun Run starting at 10:15 AM, where children ages 4 to 14 can dash around the vineyard, cheered on by their proud parents and guardians.
This vibrant event not only promotes health and wellness but also gives back to the community, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting C.I.D.E.R., an organization dedicated to supporting the residents of Grand Isle County. Organiser's Description
RunVermont is proud to present the 12TH ANNUAL ISLAND VINES ROAD RACE at beautiful Snow Farm Vineyard. The race will feature both 10K and 5K distance options, all on South Heros scenic West Shore Road.
This event also includes a Half-Mile Kids Fun Run. The Kids Fun Run is a half-mile loop around the vineyard. Start time is 10:15AM and ages 4 - 14 are welcome (adults may run with their child or play the role of World's Greatest Cheerleaders!).
A portion of race proceeds goes to C.I.D.E.R. [https://cidervt.org/] whose mission is to develop and foster resources that enable the people of Grand Isle County, Vermont to live in their community with dignity. C.I.D.E.R. accomplishes this by providing direct services and collaborating with other individuals and groups. C.I.D.E.R. feels a special responsibility to elders and persons with disabilities.

A NOTE ABOUT REGISTRATION FEES: Starting with the Summer Series, RunVermont is no longer having participants pay the RunSignup transaction fee (flat fee plus a percentage of registration price). So while the 10K and 5K each have an opening registration fee of $40, the fees at each registration point are comparable to what a participant paid to register for Island Vines in 2024. We hope that this is a welcome change--because we know how frustrating it is to see the price of something jump at checkout!--but please email us at [email protected] with feedback.
