Join us for the 2nd Annual ITFD Firefighter Memorial Run on June 7, 2026, in the heart of Ishpeming, Marquette! This exciting fundraising event kicks off at 12 p.m. at Westwood High School, where participants can choose between a thrilling 5K route that winds through both roads and scenic singletrack trails filled with rocks and roots, or a leisurely 1-mile walk on the track. Families are encouraged to come out and enjoy the day, with a special Kids Fun Run taking place on the track before the main events.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support your local volunteer fire department while enjoying a day of community spirit and fitness. First responders will be recognized with a special shirt and discounted race fees. Don’t forget, those who register before May 12, 2026, will receive a commemorative race t-shirt. The Ishpeming Township Fire Department is hosting our 2nd Annual ITFD Firefighter Memorial run fundraising event at 12 p.m. on June 7th, 2026 at Westwood High School.
The 5K route is on both roads and singletrack. (Rocks and roots on trail)
1 mile walk walk will be held on the track.
Kids fun run will also be held on the track before the start of the 5K and 1 mile walk.
Be sure to bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun while supporting your local volunteer fire department!
First Responder's will receive a special shirt and discount on the race fee.
Racers who register before May 12, 2026 will receive a race t-shirt.
T-shirt pickup will be announced on our Facebook page soon!
