After a six-year hiatus, the beloved GNOMES are back, and this year’s event promises to be better than ever. Experience the stunning trails along the Bushkill and Sobers Run creeks, featuring picturesque forest groves and exhilarating rocky single tracks. Runners can choose between a 5k or 10k course, with the 10k consisting of two laps of the 5k route.
This year’s race introduces a non-binary prize category and a Top Dog category, where you can run with your furry friend for a chance to win a prize if they are the first dog to cross the finish line! And don't forget to keep an eye out for hidden gnomes along the course—finding one and carrying it to the finish line could earn you a special prize. With various age group categories and plenty of refreshments waiting for you at the finish line, this event is designed for everyone to enjoy. Join us for a day of community, camaraderie, and environmental consciousness as we make unforgettable memories in the great outdoors

The GNOMES are back! The Jacobsburg 5 & 10 Trail Race took a 6-year hiatus, but were excited to announce that were coming back with another, long overdue, edition of our trail race! Enjoy the scenic trails along the Bushkill and Sobers Run creeks that take you through forest groves and rocky single track. Open the throttle and cruise the open dirt pack trails. WHATS NEW? The 5 and 10 mile courses have been changed to a 5k and 10k course. The 10k will be a second lap of the 5k course. Were including a non-binary prize category. Were adding a Top Dog prize category. Run with your dog and if your dog is the first dog to cross the finish line, they win a prize. WHATS THE SAME? Win a prize for finding a gnome along the course and carrying your gnome to the finish line! Top 3 women and top 3 men win a prize. Top age group finishers win prizes. As always, were trying to leave as little impact to the park and environment as possible while still having a fun day in the dirt! Please try to carpool to our race if possible. There will be two water stops along the course and one at the finish line. Food to refuel that tired body will be provided at the finish line. EMS services will be on site.
