Choose from two scenic 1.75-mile walk/run routes, beginning at either Falconer High School or Jamestown High School, both leading to the welcoming Student Union at Jamestown Community College.
This free event opens its arms to the public, offering not just a chance to walk or run, but also an opportunity to engage with local organizations and wellness initiatives. Participants will enjoy refreshing beverages, inspiring community speakers, and a mini health career fair. Plus, students have the chance to earn volunteer hours! Come be part of a community movement focused on health, wellness, and active transportation awareness throughout the Jamestown and Falconer corridor. This is a free event that is open to the public!
Participants may choose from two approximately 1.75-mile walk/run routes:
Falconer High School to Jamestown Community College
OR
Jamestown High School to Jamestown Community College
Both routes will culminate at Jamestown Community Colleges Student Union, where participants will enjoy:

sparkles Opportunities to connect with local organizations and wellness initiatives
Students are eligible to earn volunteer hours for participating in the event.
This event is designed to bring together students, schools, healthcare organizations, community leaders, and residents to promote safe access to physical activity, active transportation, and healthier connected communities.

EVENT AGENDA:
3:00 PM / School Dismissal
Students and community participants gather at their designated locations. All registered participants will be provided with a race bib/number for identification, and Chautauqua Striders staff will have registration information on-site.
3:45 PM
Students and registered community members depart from either Falconer or JHS and make their way toward Jamestown Community College. Police escorts and volunteers will be positioned along the route to assist and ensure safety.
4:00 4:15 PM
Arrival at the JCC Student Union.
4:20 4:50 PM
Guest speakers, wellness fair, and presentations
4:50 6:00 PM
Refreshments, networking, and opportunities to visit tables hosted by participating organizations.
6:00 PM
Closing remarks and thank you from Chautauqua Health Network and Chautauqua Striders
