JOIN US FOR THE JAMESTOWNFALCONER HEALTH CONNECTION!

Come be part of a community movement focused on health, wellness, and active transportation awareness throughout the Jamestown and Falconer corridor. This is a free event that is open to the public!

Participants may choose from two approximately 1.75-mile walk/run routes:
Falconer High School to Jamestown Community College
OR
Jamestown High School to Jamestown Community College

Both routes will culminate at Jamestown Community Colleges Student Union, where participants will enjoy:
sparkles Refreshments
sparkles Community speakers
sparkles A mini health career fair
sparkles Opportunities to connect with local organizations and wellness initiatives

Students are eligible to earn volunteer hours for participating in the event.

This event is designed to bring together students, schools, healthcare organizations, community leaders, and residents to promote safe access to physical activity, active transportation, and healthier connected communities.

ALARM CLOCK 3:45 PM START TIME FROM JAMESTOWN HIGH SCHOOL OR FALCONER HIGH SCHOOL TO JAMESTOWN COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENT UNION

JAMESTOWN MEETING LOCATION: GRASS AREA ON E 2ND ST DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE MAIN ENTRANCE OF JAMESTOWN HIGH SCHOOL

FALCONER MEETING LOCATION: TURF AT FALCONER HIGH SCHOOL

EVENT AGENDA:

3:00 - 3:30 PM / School Dismissal & Check-In
Students and community participants gather at their designated locations. All registered participants will be provided with a race bib/number for identification, and Chautauqua Striders & community volunteers staff will have registration information on-site.

3:45 PM
Students and registered community members depart from either Falconer HS or Jamestown HS and make their way toward Jamestown Community College. Police escorts and volunteers will be positioned along the route to assist and ensure safety.

4:15 4:30 PM
Arrival at the JCC Student Union.

4:30 6:00 PM

Refreshments, walk audit & feedback, and opportunities to visit tables hosted by participating organizations.

Guest speakers, wellness & career fair, and presentations

6:00 PM
Closing remarks and thank you from Chautauqua Health Network and Chautauqua Striders
