Join us for the Jefferson County Humane Society 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Steubenville, Jefferson! Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this exciting event promises a night filled with fun and purpose as participants come together to support the animals in our community.
This year’s race will be a GLOW run/walk, adding an extra sparkle to the evening! Walkers and runners will kick off at 8:00 PM, with registration opening at 7:30 PM. Don’t miss out on a free T-shirt when you register by June 6th, and be sure to arrive early for packet pickup starting at 7:00 PM. If you're unable to participate but still want to contribute, consider sponsoring a shelter dog to join in the festivities or purchasing a luminary in honor of a beloved pet or person. Let’s make this a memorable night while raising funds for our furry friends!

Organiser's Description
This is the 10th year for our Jefferson County Humane Society 5K walk/run. The money raised during this event will go towards the animals in our community. The race course is challenging, but fun when you bring your best friend along.
This year, the race will be a GLOW run/walk! Walkers and Runners will have a start time of 8:00 PM.
Registration on the day of the event will open at 7:30 pm. Free T-shirt with registry only until June 6th.
Packet pickup will be held on race day from 7:00 pm to the start of the race.
Cant make it to the walk/run, but want to help out? Sponsor a dog in the shelter to get to go for a walk/run during the event! Go to the donate button at the top of the page to donate. You can also purchase a luminary in honor of, or in memory of, a special pet or a person. The luminaries will have the pet or person's name on them, and they will light the finish line of the course. To purchase a luminary for $10, please click on the "donate" button at the top of the page.
