Join us for the second annual Jeremiah House of Hope 5K on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the beautiful Aberdeen Lake Park in Aberdeen, Moore. This exciting charity run aims to raise awareness and funds for the Sandhills Jeremiah Project, a faith-based ministry dedicated to supporting single, pregnant women and mothers facing homelessness. The event is a self-paced fun run/walk, perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels, encouraging community wellness and resilience while making a positive impact.
The race will kick off at 8:00 AM, with the scenic route winding along the well-maintained Aberdeen Lake Trail. While there has been a slight change to the course due to flood damage, participants can look forward to a picturesque experience as they run out to the Northwestern Trail limit and back. Packet pickup will be available on the evening before the race, May 29, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at High Octane Coffee Shop, with same-day registration also offered from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. The second annual "_JEREMIAH HOUSE OF HOPE 5K_ is a charity run to raise awareness and funding for the Sandhills Jeremiah Project. The Jeremiah 2911 House is a faith-based ministry that offers compassion, hope and help for single, pregnant women and single mothers with children facing homelessness, providing them with opportunities to have healthy, productive lives. THIS IS A SELF-PACED FUN RUN/WALK. THE EVENT IS INTENDED TO BUILD COMMUNITY WELLNESS AND RESILIENCY WHILE RAISING AWARENESS FOR A GREAT CAUSE! THE EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT 8:AM ON SATURDAY MAY 30, 20256, AT ABERDEEN LAKE PARK (301 LAKE PARK CROSSING, ABERDEEN NC). https://maps.app.goo.gl/9HUj2FNfysxqaikp9
The events will run along the Aberdeen Lake Trail, in Aberdeen, NC. There is a slight route change from last years route due to flood damage to the bridge caused by last summers heavy rain. The route is a scenic well-maintained and well-marked trail that starts in the main park area and goes out to the Northwestern Tail limit and back twice.

SAME DAY PACKET PICKUP AND REGISTRATION will be available at the start line from 6;30-7:30 am.
THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR THE TOP MALE AND FEMALE IN EACH EVENT CATEGORY.
THINGS TO DO FOR FAMILIES AND SPECTATORS. Aberdeen Park offers plenty of scenic hiking trails, playgrounds, and fishing. The nearby towns of Aberdeen, Southern Pines, and Pinehurst offer plenty of shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops.
WEATHER: May weather in Moore County is typically warm to hot with pleasant morning temperatures. The temperatures during the race period should range from lower 70ss to low 80s and reaching low 90s by mid-day. We may catch the typical summer shower.
PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A RACE T-SHIRT. T-SHIRTS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED FOR REGISTRATIONS AFTER MAY 20, 2025.
