Get ready for a spooktacular day of fun and fitness at the 5th Annual Jim Beavers Memorial Graveyard Gallop! Taking place on Saturday, October 31st, 2026, at Powell Park, this exciting event invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate in a 10K, 5K, or 1-mile race, all kicking off at 10 AM. The scenic courses will take participants on an out-and-back route, providing a unique view as they pass by the local cemetery.
This year's Gallop encourages participants to don their favorite Halloween costumes or show their team spirit by wearing green and yellow Green Bay Packers gear, in honor of Jim Beavers’ beloved team. With prizes awarded at the end of each race, there’s plenty of motivation to cross the finish line! Plus, it’s all for a great cause, as proceeds will support the Homesteader Museum Association, Inc. in providing children's scholarships for workshops and educational training. Don’t miss out on this festive and charitable community event!
