This incredible event honors the memory of Julian Myles Wood, a vibrant 3-year-old whose spirit continues to inspire. Participants can choose to run or walk in a 5K or a shorter 1-mile event, with the races kicking off at 9:00 AM following an exciting free Kid's Dash at 8:45 AM for children aged 8 and under.
Not only will you enjoy a fun-filled day with family and friends, but you'll also be contributing to a noble cause as all proceeds support scholarships for local students and initiatives aimed at uplifting our youth. With a festive atmosphere, participants are encouraged to dress like dinosaurs and enjoy post-race hot dogs, soda, and the chance to win raffle prizes. ON JUNE 3RD, 2024, JULIAN MYLES WOOD (3 YRS OLD) LOST HIS LIFE IN AN UNPROVOKED ACT OF VIOLENCE.
JULIAN'S PARENTS ORGANIZED THIS 5K TO HONOR HIS MEMORY, CELEBRATE HIS LIFE, AND GIVE BACK IN HIS NAME.
ALL PROCEEDS SUPPORT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS AND FUND INITIATIVES THAT GIVE BACK TO THE YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY!
