Where Family, Freedom, and Community Come Together
Celebrate Juneteenth at the 6TH ANNUAL CEN-TEX JUNETEENTH FREEDOM RUN 5K, hosted by the INNOVATION BLACK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. This years theme, Family Rooted in Tradition, honors the generations who paved the way for opportunity while bringing todays families and communities together in celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress.
This annual race is more than a run. It is a community movement.
Proceeds from the race support the JUNETEENTH RELIEF GRANT, a program designed to provide financial assistance to Black-owned businesses across Central Texas. This grant initiative was created to help strengthen local entrepreneurship and support business owners facing financial challenges.
Grant applications are submitted by local business owners and reviewed by a COMMUNITY SELECTION COMMITTEE, which determines which businesses will receive funding made possible through the support of runners, walkers, sponsors, and community partners.
Your participation directly contributes to empowering local businesses and building stronger economic opportunities within our community.
Your registration as a runner or walker includes:

Race day registration and packet pick will be from 6:30-7:20am at the race site. Early packet pick up will be on June 19th, 11-1pm and 4-6PM, IBCC Headquarters 205 E. Avenue D, Killeen 76541. Awards given to the top overall male and female finishers, and top three male and female finishers per age group. No duplicate awards. Age groups: 0-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ First 200 registered will receive a T-shirt, all will receive swag bags and rally towels. This is a chip-timed event!
