Organiser's Description
The Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta at Auburn University will host its 33rd Annual Shamrock 5k Run to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and to locally support Special Deliveries of Lee County. Kappa Delta will host its 5k run on Saturday, February 7th, 2026. The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both collegian and alumnae support, to raise money for the national and local child abuse prevention organizations.
ONLINE REGISTRATION PRICES AND DETAILS
STUDENT REGISTRATION:
Registration fee = $15
Does not include a t-shirt

REGULAR REGISTRATION:
Registration fee = $35
All participants who register by January 18th will recieve a complimentary runners tshirt
T-shirts will be available at packet pickup on Friday, February 6 or at Race Day Check in on Saturday, February 7th.
*Online race registration closes February 2nd, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION:
You can register in person on race day!!! Registration will be $60 the day of.
RACE LOCATION AND RACE DAY INSTRUCTIONS:
The run will be held on February 7th at the corner of W. Thach and Wire Road, near the Sigma Nu fraternity house. The run will begin promptly at 8 a.m., Please arrive between 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 to ensure an on-time race start. Age group awards will occur prior to everyone crossing the finish line.
RACE PACKET PICK UP:
*All t-shirt orders must be picked up at one of the following times. Orders will not be shipped.
Packet pick-up Friday, February 6th | 2 6 p.m.
Location: Leischuck Hall, The Village | Kappa Delta Chapter Room
Race day Packet Pick Up Saturday, February 7th | 6:30-7:30 a.m.
Location: Starting line at the corner of Thatch and Wire Road.
AWARDS:
Awards will be presented to the first-place male and female finishers in the following age groups:
14 & under
15-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60 and up!
There will also be an award for the First Place Male and Female overall.
