After the races, the celebration continues with an epic Block Party featuring fantastic vendors, delicious food trucks, and plenty of opportunities to connect with the community. Not only is this a chance for kids to get moving and have fun, but it also serves as a fundraiser for future youth initiatives, promoting wellness and empowerment within the community. Strollers are welcome, and the day kicks off with check-in starting at 7:00 AM and a special 50-yard tot run at 8:30 AM. Don’t forget to register by August 11th to secure a t-shirt! Atlanta, its time to get moving! Join us on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 8 AM to 12 PM for the Kids on the Move 5Kan exciting race designed to get kids stretching their legs, breathing in the fresh air, and embracing the joy of physical activity.
Whether they sprint, jog, or walk their way to the finish line, every young participant will build confidence, promote general health, and experience the thrill of crossing that final marker. But the fun doesnt stop there!
After the race, stick around for an epic Block Party! Participants and families can visit our amazing vendors, indulge in delicious bites from food trucks, and fellowship with the community in a lively, fun-filled atmosphere. Its more than just a raceits a celebration of movement, wellness, and togetherness.

The chip timed 5K run and 1 mile walk courses will begin at South Bend Park and circle through the parks trail back to the Boys and Girls club where the block party will begin. The Kids on the Move 5k is a fundraiser to help fund future projects, like our economic empowerment for kids expo and our youth outreach with the Whitehead Boys and Girls Club, under the We Got Next Foundation. STROLLERS ARE WELCOMED.
