Join us for the 3rd Annual Kingman County Strong: 5K Color Run and 1 Mile Walk for Suicide Prevention on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Riverside Park in Kingman, Kansas! This vibrant and uplifting event promises a fun-filled day for all ages, featuring captivating speakers, community resource information, and exciting activities. Participants can choose between a timed 5K run for just $20, which includes an official race time, bib, medal, t-shirt, sunglasses, and beads, or enjoy the free 1-mile walk, where every walker will receive a t-shirt, sunglasses, and beads.
Special guests like Ross Janssen, Chief Meteorologist at KWCH, and retired KSN Meteorologist Mark Bogner will be there to inspire and engage the crowd. Don't miss this opportunity to come together for a meaningful cause while enjoying a colorful morning in support of suicide prevention. CLOSEDEarly T-shirt pick-up will be Friday, September 20 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM in the Kingman Healthcare Center (750 West D Avenue, Kingman, Kansas 67068) parking lot -OR- you may pick it up at the event. Shirts will be black this year, and participants are invited to accessorize in color! Headbands, tutus, colorful socks, whatever you can come up with!
