Taking place in the charming downtown Hanford, this vibrant event promises a day filled with fun, fitness, and family spirit. The festivities begin bright and early with Kids Races starting at 7:30 AM, followed by the popular 5K and 3K races at 8:00 AM.
This year features a new start/finish location at 325 N Douty Street, right between Superior Dairy and Civic Center Park, providing a fantastic venue for cheering on runners and enjoying time with loved ones. Participants can choose between the scenic 5K route or the 3K Fun Walk, with medals awarded to the top male and female finishers in the 5K. Plus, families can join in the fun with Kids Races, including a 1/4 Mile and 1/2 Mile option. Don’t miss your chance to form a team and compete for the coveted Biggest Flock Award, with a tie-breaker for the best-dressed group! With packet pick-up available in the days leading up to the race, you’ll be all set for a memorable Thanksgiving morning

LOCATION: ON DOUTY, IN FRONT OF SUPERIOR DAIRY
NEW THIS YEAR: START/FINISH LOCATION, 3K FUN WALK, AND KIDS RACES!!
**KIDS THAT RUN IN THE "KIDS RACE" CAN ALSO WALK THE 3K, OR RUN/WALK THE 5K WITH FAMILY**
WHAT: The Turkey Trot is back (organized by Champions Recovery Alternative Services), and we cant wait to see you! Come join the fun on Thanksgiving morning in beautiful downtown Hanford.
WHEN: Thursday, November 27, 2025 at 8 AM. (Kids Races will start at 7:30am) - Rain or Shine.
WHERE: OUR NEW START/FINISH LINE, 325 N DOUTY STREET (BETWEEN SUPERIOR DAIRY & CIVIC CENTER PARK), IN HANFORD. Same 5K Route, just a BIGGER Race Finish Line Venue to Cheer, Support, Meet Up, and Hang Out with your family and friends!
This course is scenic, and will take you around downtown; before the 5K splits and does an out-an-back on Douty Street, and the 3K Walkers return to the Finish Line!
MEDALS: Medals will be awarded to our Top 20 Male & Top 20 Female 5K Finishers, must be registered in the 5K chip timed race!
KIDS RACES: 1/4 Mile Fun Race, and 1/2 Mile Fun Race.
BIGGEST FLOCK AWARD: Create your team/group, have your family & friends (maybe your entire work) join it....Win the BIGGEST FLOCK AWARD! Tie-Breaker - Best Dressed!

Tuesday, November 25th & Wednesday, November 26th from 9 AM to 6 PM, at 311 N Douty Street (Champions Corporate Office).
On Thanksgiving Morning, we will open at 6:30 AM. To avoid long lines and a late start the day of the race, please pick up your packet early!
