This scholarship helps students in Energy Science majors while promoting economic development, education, and community revitalization in and around Mount Jewett. Organiser's Description
The 2025 Kinzua Bridge Challenge 10K, 5K,1 Mile, and 2 Mile Walk will be a staggered start beginning at 9:00 am on Sunday, August 11th. The races start at the Center Street Trailhead on the Mt Jewett to Kinzua Bridge Rails to Trails. The course is out and back for each race. The proceeds benefit the Swedish Festival Association who partner with the Mount Jewett Community to host one of the largest festival in the county.
The Mount Jewett Swedish Festival Association will allocate the proceeds of the race to benefit the Penn York Oil and Gas Scholarship held at the University of Pittsburgh the Bradford Campus. This scholarship supports students in the Energy Science majors. Proceeds exceeding the scholarship donation will be distributed for the purpose of promoting economic development, education, innovation and community revitalization in and around the Mount Jewett area.

There will be finisher medals at the finish line.
T-shirts for all who pre-register by July 13th, 2025. Race day registration 8:00-8:45 am. The race starts at 9:00 am.
All races use the same course. There will be personnel on the trail to turn the racers accordingly.
